The current turbulence in the capital markets and loss of market confidence have propelled the world economy into uncharted territory. Scarce funding, significant increases in the volatility of commodities, currencies and other asset prices, coupled in some cases with a large geographical footprint is making it increasingly difficult for corporate executives to pull together a comprehensive picture of the financial risks facing their businesses and the best way to manage those risks. The recent publicity over shocking losses in derivatives only serves to bring the crisis even closer to home. Disillusioned, stakeholders are challenging how well organisations actually manage their risks, including finance and treasury management. It is therefore critical that companies put in place a robust risk management policy and framework and then communicate it to their stakeholders.

KPMG China's Finance and Treasury Management (FTM) service helps you to discover answers to these questions. During the event, we will discuss the below items:

  • Emerging issues for financial risk management and key considerations for management
  • Leading practices of finance and treasury function

Seminars will also be held in Shanghai and Hong Kong with similar topics. Please click below link for more details, if you are interested in attending.
