Provisional Liquidators appointed over further Lehman Brothers' Hong Kong incorporated entities

19 September 2008

KPMG announces that Paul Brough, Edward Middleton and Patrick Cowley were today appointed by the High Court as Provisional Liquidators of three further Hong Kong based Lehman Brothers companies, Lehman Brothers Asia Holdings Limited, Lehman Brothers Asia Limited and Lehman Brothers Commercial Corporation Asia Limited.

Lehman Brothers' Hong Kong based businesses and employees are therefore now under the control of the Provisional Liquidators.

The Provisional Liquidators' immediate focus remains on working with Lehman Brothers local management and staff, in order that the value in these business units and jobs can be preserved, and appropriate strategies identified to deal with them.

Further announcements will be made at appropriate times.
