Sherry Chang assumes KPMG GTPS leadership role in Taiwan
Tuesday, 11 November, 2008
Sherry Chang recently assumed the leadership role of KPMG's Global Transfer Pricing Services (GTPS) practice in Taiwan. She is taking on this role in a period of increased enforcement by the government in Taiwan - and is just the person to take on the heightened challenges. "Given her past experience working for the tax authority in Taiwan over nine years prior to joining KPMG in Taiwan, Sherry has an extensive understanding of internal procedures as well as strong connections that help to deliver advice that can stand up to scrutiny in the future" said Steven Tseng, Asia-Pacific region GTPS Leader. In addition, Sherry has been a frequent public speaker and contributor of articles on transfer pricing, corporate tax, and tax incentives issues and has earned a strong reputation among the tax authority and business community in Taiwan.
KPMG's GTPS Taiwan practice has expanded its number of full time professionals to nearly 50 within a short time period to meet demand. The group represents skilled economics, legal, finance, and taxation professionals with extensive experience in dealing with transfer pricing and international taxation issues. Because of this experience, companies in Taiwan have looked more and more to KPMG's GTPS Taiwan to add value when preparing transfer pricing documentation as well as developing transfer pricing strategies to mitigate transfer pricing risk.
