Nick Debnam
Partner-in-charge, Consumer Markets Practice
KPMG China

Nick has worked in Hong Kong since 1990 and is an audit partner responsible for services provided to a number of local and Multinational companies. His client base includes both IFRS and USGAAP based clients, and his domestic clients include a number listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Nick heads up KPMG's Consumer Markets Line of Business in China and Hong Kong SAR, and also leads KPMG's Consumer Markets group in the Asia Pacific region.

Sandy Chen
Director

Sandy Chen obtained her Ph.D. in Consumer Behavior from Purdue University, USA. Her experience encompasses both advanced quantitative modelling applications and qualitative market research methods.

Sandy joined TNS in the year of 2002 and has extensive experience in a wide range of research, such as segmentation, ad research, product test, brand health tracking, satisfactions study, and consumption trend analysis. She has covered many industries, including FMCG, IT, retail, healthcare, financial services, and apparel.

Ashok Sethi
Regional Director, Best Practice and Methodology
TNS ALM (Asia, Latin America, Middle East)

Ashok is a graduate in Mathematics and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has over 25 years of experience in market and social research in China, India, Hong Kong, Indonesia and other Asia Pacific countries.

Ashok has a vast range of experience in both qualitative and quantitative research and has worked in sectors as diverse as FMCG, business and finance, telecoms and social marketing. An active speaker at major International symposia and seminars, he has presented papers at the Worldwide Readership Research Symposia. He has also been a consultant to the World Bank, USAID and UNICEF.

Ashok’s special area of interest is harnessing the power of advanced statistical methods to help address business issues - he is also a trainer for Advanced Analytical Methods within TNS. Before taking the regional role, he was the Managing Director of TNS China for 3.5 years.

Steven Tseng
Asia Pacific Leader, Global Transfer Pricing Services
KPMG China

Steven Tseng is the partner in charge of Global Transfer Pricing Services for KPMG China. He has been active in advising multinational companies on transfer pricing issues since 1994.

Steven’s transfer pricing career included experience in the US, Japan, Nordic region and he has been working on Transfer Pricing in China from 2005. As of October 2007, he assumes the leadership of the Asia Pacific Region of Global Transfer Pricing Services for KPMG. Prior to KPMG China, he was the partner in charge of Financial Advisory Services of KPMG in Finland and a member of its Executive Board.

Steven is a frequent public speaker and contributor of articles on transfer pricing, valuations and globalization. He has also conducted several technical training sessions for the Chinese tax authorities on transfer pricing.

Steven has served as the lead partner/lead economist for several hundred global transfer pricing, business transformation, valuations and post merger integration projects around the world. His clients cover almost all industries including energy, financial services, telecommunications, chemicals, electronics, machinery, consumer goods and non-profitable associations.
