In this seminar, we will discuss about the publication of the OECD's Report on the Attribution of Profits to Permanent Establishments in China, for which KPMG is the OECD authorized translator and publisher in China, in conjunction with the State Administration of Taxation (SAT) who have reviewed the translation and drafted an introductory section to this official document.
It is crucial for companies to gain awareness regarding the positions that the SAT and PRC tax authorities are likely to take on this important milestone, and increase their knowledge and awareness of transfer pricing and permanent establishment issues in the context of financial services. This conference will provide a unique opportunity to hear senior KPMG transfer pricing professionals discuss the OECD Report and its implications. They will introduce the relevant principles, with examples of their practical application, as well as share their experiences in solving some of the common compliance issues encountered in 2009. Subsequent to the event, there will be slots reserved for complimentary private meetings with KPMG senior professionals.
KPMG's Global Transfer Pricing Services team comprises over 450 full-time transfer pricing specialists in the Asia-Pacific region, with over 200 in Greater China. The team is organized by industry lines in order to better serve our clients and we will draw on this expertise during the event. KPMG was recognized by International Tax Review as 2009 Asia Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year, 2009 China Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year and 2009 Hong Kong Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year.
