1. In May, KPMG China supported the Employee Volunteer Week, organised by the NGO, Community Business. It included a series of activities run by our people, such as a mini-expo to showcase our key CSR programmes, tutorial sessions for the SoCO children, and promotion of additional volunteering opportunities with our NGO partners.

2. As a long standing global supporter of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), KPMG China had over 80 people from eight offices volunteer to act as business advisors and provide guidance to more than 70 SIFE teams across China during the academic year 2008-2009. A total of 19 KPMG partners and senior managers voluntarily served as judges at the SIFE competitions.
