On the evening of 17 March 2011, more than 60 alumni gathered at the Guangzhou office that had flowers adorning its Professional Development Centre to welcome our old friends. Peter Kung, senior partner of the Southern China region, kicked off the evening with a welcome speech. He thanked the alumni for their hard work and dedication to the firm during their time at KPMG and their continuous support to KPMG after leaving the firm. A video showing highlights of past Guangzhou annual dinners was played during the event, stirring memories and a sense of nostalgia of everyone's old times in KPMG. The evening ended with everyone tucking in to the delicious food amid good conversation.
